Stronger
At Together Growing Strong we work with kids and adults who are neurodivergent or have learning challenges like Dyslexia, ADHD, or Dyscalculia. We play games, sew, hammer, use craft, water play, ball play and our sensory gym to engage and grow.
We are located in Hackham, South Australia. Students can benefit from one-on-one individual mentoring and tutoring or participate in our after school group classes.

Individual Mentoring
We work with children and adults who are neurodivergent, Dyslexia or have ADHD or learning challenges. Mentoring builds confidence, social skills, emotional regulation and independence through one on one support.

Group Therapies
Led by experienced practitioners, we offer group services for private and NDIS-funded clients. Group sessions include What’s the Buzz, LEGO® Play and Role Playing Games.

Academic Tutoring
We provide personalised tutoring for neurodivergent children and adults, focusing on improving literacy, numeracy, study skills, and academic confidence for lasting learning success.
Individual Mentoring
Our tailored support helps build confidence, improve social skills, and strengthen emotional regulation and executive functioning. Through compassionate guidance and practical strategies, we empower clients to better understand body language, communicate effectively, develop independence, and succeed in school, work, and life. Whether it’s improving handwriting, managing focus, or navigating social situations, we meet each person where they are—supporting growth, resilience, and self-belief in a safe and encouraging environment. A fully equipped sensory gym is available for those who benefit from movement.
Group Therapies
What’s the Buzz? is a globally used social-emotional learning program developed by Mark Le Messurier and Madhavi Nawana Parker. It teaches children empathy, resilience, self-awareness, and relationship skills through fun, structured lessons, role-plays, and discussions—helping them build emotional intelligence, confidence, and positive social behaviours in everyday life.

- Tuesdays 3.30pm: ages 5 – 8 years
- Wednesdays 4pm: ages 9 – 11 years
LEGO® Therapy is a structured, play-based intervention that uses collaborative LEGO building to develop social and communication skills in children, especially those with autism or social challenges. Guided by a therapist, participants take on roles and work as a team, fostering cooperation, problem-solving, turn-taking, and language development in a fun environment.
- Tuesdays 4.30pm: ages 5 – 8 years
- Wednesdays 9am: ages 18+ yaers
- Thursdays 4.30pm: ages 9 – 11 years
- Thursdays 6pm: ages 12 – 17 years

Academic Tutoring
We provide friendly, personalised tutoring for kids and adults who are neurodivergent or have learning challenges like Dyslexia, ADHD, or Dyscalculia. Our sessions focus on building core skills in reading, writing, spelling, and maths, while also helping with focus, organisation, and study habits.
We tailor everything to suit each person’s learning style, boosting their confidence and helping them feel more capable at school, uni, or work. With a supportive and relaxed approach, we make learning feel less stressful and more achievable—so every learner can grow, succeed, and feel proud of their progress.
Sensory Gym
Our sensory gym offers a fun, safe space for neurodivergent children or those with learning challenges like Dyslexia, ADHD, or Dyscalculia to explore movement and sensation in ways that suit them best. Activities like swinging, jumping, balancing, or using a trapeze support regulation, focus, and body awareness. Kids can crash into soft mats, bury themselves in bean bags, or explore textures and movement to calm their nervous systems or boost energy. Our sensory gym encourages confidence, motor skills, and creativity while helping kids learn how their bodies and minds work. It’s a powerful tool for both therapeutic and developmental growth.

“Continuous effort – not strength or intelligence – is the key to unlocking our potential”
Sir Winston Churchill

“Tammy is a great teacher. Her enthusiasm is infectious and my daughter can’t want to go to tutoring. She has improved her reading and now teaches me about sounds and spelling.
Highly recommended Tammy is the Bomb!”
