With a gain factor of approximately 100, the 12AX7 (ECC83) is the standard high-gain preamp valve in an enormous range of amplifier designs. Electro-Harmonix’s version is well-suited to guitar amplifier V1 and overdrive positions, as well as Hi-Fi phono and line-stage applications.
Compatible with any 12AX7, ECC83 or 7025 position. Single valve, tested before dispatch.
