Description
The 6B6G is a dual diode triode combination valve in an octal envelope, originally designed for AM radio receiver applications where it served as a detector, AVC rectifier, and first audio amplifier in a single envelope.
This valve is primarily of interest to enthusiasts restoring vintage American radios and early audio equipment in which it was specified. Octal-base equivalents of this type are becoming increasingly scarce in NOS condition.
