The 6BE6 is a pentagrid converter valve used in the first IF conversion stage of superheterodyne radio receivers, combining the local oscillator and mixer functions in a single envelope. Equivalents include EK90, 6А2П, X77, CV453, and 6H31.
NOS examples from various manufacturers are available. The 6BE6 is a specialist restoration part for vintage radio receivers. Similar to 5760, 6A2, and CV4012 types.
