Description
The 6DT6 (European EF89) is a sharp-cutoff pentode designed for intermediate-frequency amplification in FM radio receivers and television tuners. Its high gain and sharp cutoff characteristic made it ideal for selectivity-demanding IF strip designs common in European and American broadcast equipment of the 1950s and 60s.
NOS examples are required for restoration of vintage FM tuners and radios using this type. Tested before dispatch. Supplied as a single valve.
