Description
The 6N1P (6Н1П) is a Soviet noval dual triode with characteristics broadly similar to the ECC88 / 6DJ8 family, widely used as a line stage and output buffer valve in Russian Hi-Fi equipment and adopted by Western audiophile designers who appreciate its warm character and ready availability.
While not a direct drop-in for ECC88 in all circuits (heater current differs), the 6N1P is used in equipment specifically designed for it. It is also popular in kits and in non-critical ECC88-substitution applications.
Noval (9-pin) base. Supplied as a single valve.
