Description
This ceramic 9-pin noval (B9A) PCB-mount socket is suitable for the vast range of noval-base valves including ECC83/12AX7, ECC82/12AU7, ECC88/6DJ8, EL84/6BQ5, EF86, and all other 9-pin miniature types.
The ceramic construction provides superior heat resistance and electrical isolation compared to plastic alternatives — an important consideration given the operating temperatures of power valves such as the EL84. The PCB-mount format suits kit builds and purpose-designed amplifier boards.
