Description
This B7G chassis-mount socket accommodates all valves with the standard 7-pin B7G base, including the EF86, 6AQ5, 6AM6, 6AU6, and many similar small-signal and power types.
Chassis-mount sockets are the traditional format for hand-wired valve amplifiers, mounted directly into drilled holes in the amplifier chassis and wired point-to-point to surrounding components. This socket is suitable for new amplifier construction following vintage methods, or for replacement of worn or damaged sockets in restoration projects.
