Description
A quality B7G 7-pin ceramic valve socket with matching shield, designed for chassis mounting in amplifier and radio builds. The B7G Rimlock base format is used by a wide range of miniature preamp valves including the 6AV6, EF50 / CV1091, 5965 / 12AV7 and many subminiature types.
Ceramic construction ensures stable operation at elevated temperatures and prevents contamination from flux during soldering. The included shield reduces electrostatic interference and is particularly useful in high-gain preamp and phono stages where microphonics and hum pickup must be minimised.
Supplied as a single socket and shield unit. Suitable for chassis-mount installation.
