Description
The CV2432 (American equivalent 6205) is a subminiature pentode of British military specification, built to withstand the vibration, temperature extremes and humidity found in military and airborne electronics. The ruggedised construction made these valves highly reliable and they remain sought after for special-purpose audio projects.
Subminiature valves operate at lower heater voltages and in smaller envelopes than standard receiving tubes, making them suitable for compact instrument designs, hearing aid amplifiers, and experimental audio circuits. The CV2432 designation indicates conformance to the UK CV (Common Valve) military procurement scheme.
Stock is New Old Stock, tested before dispatch. Supplied as a single valve.
