Description
The EBF35 is an octal combined double diode-pentode, used in European AM radio receivers of the late 1930s and 1940s. The pentode section serves as an IF amplifier while the twin diodes handle AM detection and AGC, allowing one valve to perform the work of two or three in older designs.
This type represents an important evolutionary step in radio valve miniaturisation and integration. New Old Stock examples are of interest to vintage radio collectors and restorers.
Octal (8-pin) base. New Old Stock. Supplied as a single tested valve.
