Description
The 300B is arguably the most celebrated output valve in the history of high-end audio. Western Electric’s original 1930s design set the benchmark for single-ended triode amplification, and its distinctive combination of authoritative bass, liquid midrange and airy treble has attracted a devoted following that has only grown over the decades.
Electro-Harmonix’s 300B features a gold grid for exceptional linearity and reduced intermodulation distortion, a robust eight-course heater design for stable emission over thousands of hours, and tight factory testing for consistent operating parameters. Made in Russia, it represents an outstanding value-for-performance proposition in the demanding 300B market.
Used in the output stage of single-ended triode (SET) amplifiers by makers including Sophia Electric, Triode Lab, Coincident, and many DIY builders. Rated at approximately 40W plate dissipation. Single valve, tested before dispatch.
