The Electro-Harmonix 6922 / E88CC is a new-production premium small-signal dual triode that represents a meaningful upgrade over the generic 6922 types commonly found in factory-fitted amplifiers. Made in Saratov, Russia — the same facility as the acclaimed Reflector Silver Shield 6N23P-EV — EHX’s 6922 delivers improved noise performance and consistency compared to budget-grade equivalents.
The 6922 (E88CC) is a premium variant of the ubiquitous 6DJ8 / ECC88, designed to tighter tolerances for professional and high-reliability applications. It is widely used in audio preamplifiers, phono stages, DAC output stages and signal processing equipment by manufacturers including Audio Research, Conrad Johnson, Schiit and many others.
Compatible with 6922, E88CC, 6DJ8 and ECC88 positions. Single valve, tested before dispatch.
