The Electro-Harmonix EL84 is a current-production power valve and a perennial favourite as an upgrade for any amplifier requiring EL84 / 6BQ5 type valves. Made at the Reflektor plant in Saratov, Russia, the EHX EL84 is known for its reliable, consistent performance and full, musical tone.
The EL84 is the defining output valve for a wide range of British-voiced guitar amplifiers including Vox AC15 and AC30, Fender Blues Junior and many boutique designs. In Hi-Fi, the EL84 is valued for its extended high-frequency response and musical character in single-ended and push-pull designs.
