The Genalex Gold Lion 6V6 is a premium current-production version of the beloved 6V6 beam power tetrode, manufactured at the Saratov facility in Russia. It builds on the Gold Lion reputation for refined construction and consistently excellent performance.
The 6V6 is one of the most cherished American power valves, powering classic Fender amplifiers including the Princeton Reverb, Deluxe Reverb, and Champ, as well as countless boutique and hi-fi designs. Its sweet, natural breakup and warm tonal character are central to the “small Fender” sound. Gold Lion’s version is noted for its musical quality and consistency.
Compatible with any amplifier specifying 6V6, 6V6GT, or 6V6GTA. Octal 8-pin base. A single valve is supplied.
