Description
The 6CA4/EZ81 is a 9-pin noval full-wave rectifier widely adopted in European Hi-Fi amplifiers and smaller guitar amplifiers during the 1950s and 1960s. Its noval base makes it notably more compact than octal rectifiers such as the 5AR4.
JJ Electronic manufactures the 6CA4 in Slovakia with modern quality processes. It is the standard rectifier in many European integrated amplifiers and is a common upgrade or replacement in guitar amplifiers that call for the EZ81 designation.
Compatible with amplifiers specifying 6CA4, EZ81, or equivalent. Supplied as a single valve.
