Description
The JJ Electronic 6CA7 is a beam power tetrode equivalent of the EL34, manufactured in Slovakia. Unlike the true EL34 pentode, the 6CA7 in JJ’s implementation uses beam-forming plates, which give a somewhat different — often described as punchier and fuller in the low end — tonal character. The JJ 6CA7 is a popular choice for players wanting a bolder alternative to the standard EL34 in Marshall and similar amplifiers.
Compatible with all EL34 and 6CA7 sockets. A straightforward drop-in substitution for standard EL34 valves with a tonal shift towards the beam tetrode character.
Supplied as a single valve.
