Description
The JJ Electronic 6L6GC is a heavy-duty variant of the iconic 6L6 beam power tetrode, manufactured at JJ’s modern factory in Slovakia. JJ’s version is known for its thicker glass envelope, rugged construction, and excellent power handling — up to 30W plate dissipation — making it a popular choice for high-headroom guitar amplifiers.
The 6L6 was developed by RCA in 1936 and became the defining American power valve, powering Fender amplifiers from the Deluxe Reverb to the Twin Reverb, and hi-fi classics from Marantz, Fisher, and Scott. JJ’s 6L6GC is a reliable, consistent new-production option for all these applications.
Compatible with any circuit specifying 6L6, 6L6GC, 5881, or KT66 (with bias adjustment). Octal 8-pin base. A single valve is supplied.
