The Philips GZ37 is a new old stock full-wave octal rectifier valve from Philips, one of Europe’s most respected valve manufacturers. The GZ37 is a high-current rectifier suited to larger amplifier power supplies, commonly used in vintage British hi-fi equipment from manufacturers including Leak, Quad, and Rogers.
Philips was a cornerstone of European valve production, and their GZ37 examples reflect the careful quality control and consistent manufacture that defined their products. These NOS examples are increasingly scarce and well suited to amplifier restoration.
Compatible with amplifiers specifying GZ37 or 5U4 (verify circuit compatibility). Octal base. Supplied as a single valve.
