The 6SL7GT is a high-amplification-factor (µ ≈ 70) octal dual triode, a cornerstone of American valve audio design from the 1940s through the 1960s. RCA’s production is among the most respected for reliability, consistency, and sonic quality.
The 6SL7 family is extensively used in preamplifier voltage amplification stages, phase splitters, and driver circuits in both audiophile Hi-Fi equipment and guitar amplifiers. NOS RCA examples are prized for their refined, low-noise character.
