This is a complete valve upgrade set for the Schiit Audio Stjarna preamplifier, assembled by The Valve Store using premium New Old Stock Philips 6DJ8 / ECC88 valves made in Japan.
The Schiit Stjarna is a high-performance tube preamplifier that uses four 6DJ8 / ECC88 type valves. The stock valves are replaced here with NOS Philips Japanese production — a highly regarded source known for low noise, low microphonics and musical transparency. Each valve is individually selected to Maxi-Preamp grade, meaning both triode sections within each valve are matched to ±15%, ensuring balanced channel operation and minimal noise.
The 6DJ8 / ECC88 is equivalent to E88CC and is the standard type for this design. Four valves included — price is for valves only, not the amplifier.
