Description
The Tung-Sol EL34B is a new-production output pentode and a variant of the classic EL34 with slightly modified construction for enhanced reliability and lower plate resistance. Made in Russia, this valve carries the musical expressiveness for which Tung-Sol is celebrated — warm midrange, responsive dynamics and a controlled, extended treble.
The EL34 family (EL34, EL34B, 6CA7) is central to British amplifier design heritage, featuring in Marshall, Orange, Hiwatt and many Hi-Fi designs. Tung-Sol’s EL34B is well regarded as a drop-in improvement in these circuits, bringing extra warmth and detail without altering the characteristic EL34 voicing.
Compatible with EL34, EL34B and 6CA7 positions. Single valve, tested before dispatch.
