The Tung-Sol KT150 matched quad consists of four precision-matched KT150 beam power tetrodes, the most powerful valve in Tung-Sol’s reissue range. The KT150 is capable of extremely high power output per valve, making it the choice of reference-level hi-fi amplifier manufacturers seeking maximum dynamic headroom.
The KT150 was developed as an evolution of the KT88/6550 family, offering substantially higher power handling in a physically larger envelope. It is specified in amplifiers from premium manufacturers including Atma-Sphere, VAC, and Rogersound Labs, among others.
